What is gynecology?

The field of gynecology focuses on all other aspects of a woman's reproductive health since the onset of menopause and beyond puberty. Gynecology or gynecology is a medical practice related to the health of the female reproductive system. Outside of medicine, the term means "women's science." Part of it is andrology, which deals with medical problems related to the male reproductive system.

To become a gynecologist, a person must first train for years as a doctor, followed by another four years of expertise in obstetrics and gynecology.
